Our love story was a slow burn but worth every moment. We first met in undergrad at UT Austin, but life took us in different directions. We reconnected years later back in our hometown of Houston thanks to a shared “interest” in reupholstery (aka Tim’s clever excuse to slide into Mahsa’s DMs). One date, then the world shut down. During this time, Mahsa injured her ankle and Tim came to the rescue. And just like that, we became a pandemic couple!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory we've shared as a couple is our trip to Tennessee to visit Dollywood because what could be better than a Dolly Parton themed amusement park?! We got there early, beat the crowds, and jumped on ride after ride. Tim had to take a breather to get his equilibrium back on track, lol. Afterwards, we took the scenic route back to our cabin through Great Smoky Mountains National Park and were lucky enough to spot black bears in the wild.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use some of the funds to help us expand our family, however that may look like. We also dream of starting a business together focused on curating fun events. We love hosting themed get-togethers for our family and friends and would be thrilled to help others create memorable moments with their loved ones too!
