Connect How did your love story begin?

Maggie and Doug were both searching for their person on an app that rhymes with catch. They were instantly attracted to each other's profiles and loved chatting and flirting. Doug gave Mags the option of a fancy place or tacos and margs for their first date. Tacos and margs, of course! Mags loved his gentle and open demeanor. He was kind and thoughtful. Doug loved her directness, confidence, and flowing red locks. It wasn't long before they knew they had found the one.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On the 5th anniversary of their first date of tacos and margs, Doug and Maggie got married, just the two of them and an officiant, overlooking the Potomac in Old Town Alexandria. Their greatest desire was for their closest family and friends to celebrate and witness the love they found, so exactly six months later they had the backyard wedding of their dreams. They served tacos, Dougie-Fresh Strawberry margs and Original Maggie-Ritas and made memories to last a lifetime.

What would you do with $20,000?

Doug and Maggie have a mutual love of San Diego where they both previously lived. They both have favorite Mexican food spots, a love of the ocean, and are drawn to a temperate climate where they can live an outdoor, active lifestyle year round. Doug misses watching the sunset in La Jolla and Mags misses running along the beach in Coronado. If they were lucky enough to win the $20k, they would put it in their dream house fund for a place their kids and grandkids can visit and make memories.
