Connect How did your love story begin?

We matched on hinge and I rejected him for receiving my instagram and phone number to test if he would be okay with rejection, which he was and he was very respectful. After two months of texting and two weeks of facetiming we met in person and every date he brought a gift for me that was sentimental (for example: our first date he gave me a Starlord pop figure because I love pops, Starlord, and I relate to the backstory of Starlord). We have been together for 1 year and 8 months now!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory that I’ve shared as a couple with my boyfriend was when I told him about my best friend’s breakup (who we just visited at my job at the time) and as soon as we finish our dinner, he suggests that we should go to the store to get her ingredients for banana pudding because she’s wanted to make it for so long and it would help her get her mind off of the breakup. In that moment I realized that I fell in love with a MAN who is observant, thoughtful, and cares about everyone.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would donate some of it to certain communities in need such as Foster Youth (as I am a hidden foster youth case) and Migrant communities. The rest we would invest so we could finally make our dreams come true of renting/owning a place together! For reference we are 21 and 23, and I hope to stay in the area I live (and help him move as well) to Silicon Valley, California.
