Connect How did your love story begin?

It began in 2013. The year it all started for us. We met in middle school through mutual friends. We first texted each other on February 13th, 2013 & met in person the next day, on Valentine’s Day! We were both 13 and in 8th grade. After three weeks of being friends, Cedric asked me to be his girlfriend on March 6th, 2013 after lunch! We have been attached at the hip ever since ♡ We finished middle school together, then high school which was the hardest part of our journey, and then university.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our engagement! Dec 2022, The day I said yes to forever! & oh was it perfect. It was a cold, magical night in New York City. We were on my bucket list trip of ‘visiting New York during Christmas’ and Cedric popped the question while we were both admiring and in awe of the beautiful Rockefeller Christmas tree🎄And just as I thought it couldn’t get any better, my family from Texas came out and witnessed the whole thing too! It was the best. We finally get married this summer 2025 after 12 years.

What would you do with $20,000?

Save it for our first home together. We DREAM of having a place of our own with our future kids running around. After our wedding this summer, we are SO ready to take the next step and buy a house together. This money will be life changing to not only us but our future family we have yet to build. We have worked hard to create a solid foundation for our marriage, and this support would allow us to step into this new chapter with confidence and stability ensuring the life of our dreams♡ Thank you
