Years ago, Maureen & I worked together, & we both knew each other's spouses. I decided to leave that job to pursue my career. A decade later, I went through a separation & changed jobs to be closer to my kids. I didn’t realize fate had something exciting planned for me! When I returned to my hometown, I ran into Maureen by chance. She had also faced challenges, having lost her husband to cancer. To heal & move forward, she bought a home to flip. She hired me (oh I need more than 500 characters!)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our first kiss – a cherished memory that embodies perfection. It felt almost primordial, a connection that seems both ancient and eternal. The bond we share is intricate and resilient, a true testament to our journey together.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, we don’t need the money, so it really holds no weight beyond the idea of gifting it to my children or donating it to my hometown church that tragically burned. Built in 1886, it has been an iconic symbol of my family’s Catholic heritage and my father’s dedicated service as a Deacon. After his passing, the tabernacle was regilded in his memory, and it would be truly wonderful to restore it once again through family.
