They met at church in 1st grade. "Friends" would be a strong word to describe them, more like they might be able to pick each other out of a lineup. The marble maze championship. Lyssa V.S. Kevin. Everything was on the line(As much as it can be in 1st grade). 500 words short, Kevin won by cheating. Thus began Lyssa's years long grudge, refusing sorry's & ignoring attempts at friendship. True enemies to lovers shit. After a forced truce Lyssa begrudgingly relented & something began to bloom.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have a lot. Traveling to Nicaragua to meet a boy we sponsored. Bringing home our kitten from a Disneyland trip. Dancing with 500 of our friends & family at our wedding. We agree the proposal is our favorite. Lyssa said she couldn't be surprised. Kevin said bet. Lyssa walked into a trampoline park, her best friends bounced to her with signs saying "Will you marry me?" Kevin burst out of the foam pit, bounces over, lands on one knee with the ring. Lyssa was surprised. The rest is history.
What would you do with $20,000?Invest in us. We've worked since we were 16 & 18. Never had a lot, always had enough. Saddled with student loans & debt from Lyssa's health history, we've never been in a position to save for our 1st home. At 8yrs married we are ready to start our own family. We want to bring our kids "Home". Not to a tiny apartment we barely fit in, but a place we've created just for them, a place to grow & thrive together. Also a big party to celebrate all our people who've loved us to where we are today.
