Our love story began on May 8, 1984. I went to the Holyoke mall with my sister and her friend. They recognized my now husband’s friend Stephen, who played in a local band. I told them I would wave, and they stopped to talk to us. Steve walked over to me, and we talked for awhile…finding out that we enjoyed the mall, bowling and movies! My sister handed Steve my number, and the next day he called me and asked me out on a date to Huke Lau and a movie (Footloose). The rest is our love story.

Our MOST FAVORITE memory we have shared as a couple is our love for Disney World. We have had so many fun, magical times together enjoying our “Disney Life “. We have been blessed to have each other to enjoy the special times in the MOST magical place. We honeymooned in Disney World on May 19,1990 at the Grand Floridian, and then we went back for our 25th, and this past May our 35th anniversary. We have enjoyed private clubs, tours, Disney cruises, Disney Vacation Club, and all the pixie dust!

We were unable to have kids, but we are “adopted” second parents to many young adults. We would love to use the $20,000 to visit the other Disney properties with others who have not experienced the Disney Magic. We have always agreed that if anything happens to us, we would give our DVC to wish kids. Also, we would love to put an addition onto our home and make it a special moments room with all our Disney adventures and memorabilia! We are so blessed for this opportunity and hope to be chosen!
