Our children became friends through a small home daycare provider. After Luis caught wind I was recently single, he asked for a play date with the kids. We went to the trampoline park and all participated. During that play date I thought Luis was delusional- we had just met, but he was asking me to visit NYC with him and said the next flag I'd rep on my home was the NY Giant's (his team). Two days later we had an innocent adult get together, and we've been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our meet cute is definitely one of the highlights. But we also took a trip to Luis' homeland of Ecuador as a couple shortly after we had our son, Mateo. Luis hadn't been back there in 25 years! I met his mother and sister, who are of Incan heritage. We visited ruins, helped farm his mother's land, ate Cuy. It was a magical cultural experience.
What would you do with $20,000?With the prize money we would finally take our honeymoon to Italy. Life has been so busy with work (he is a contractor, I work in suicide prevention) and raising our 3 children. We've been married three years now and would love a trip for just us.
