Connect How did your love story begin?

We are a tinder success story. We met when both of us didn’t believe in a happy ever after and that’s probably why it worked. With our guards down, we jumped in with both feet. The first night Mike came to meet me in person, I was out with some friends and as he was walking up the front door of the bar we were at, I met him outside and kissed him before I introduced myself. He will go on to tell that story and immediately let you know he thought I was “crazy”. (In love)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Mike is a huge fisherman. And one cold October he had a huge lake trout take his whole set up. Ripped it right off the boat. After keeping him from jumping in, I suggested we look for the fish as it floated to the top. Sure enough we recovered the gear, and the fish and got “the fish photo” that is now memorialized in the form of a custom photo ornament that hangs on our tree each year. “The trout that almost got away”

What would you do with $20,000?

We would complete the basement in our new home, finishing it off with a production studio complete with our podcast set up. We could continue to tell our stories and celebrate the life we have - together. Mike could make music again and we could spend more time together doing just one of the many things we enjoy, as a couple.
