Friends for fifteen years, professional orbits kept our love story from sparking until one fateful day when Kelli returned from a yacht contract in Fiji. Nick saw her with renewed eyes and knew he was looking at the love of his life… Kelli was coy, but COVID turned our courtship into being a committed couple!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to pick just one memory in what has already felt like a lifetime of adventures…but I think one that shines the brightest (outside of our wedding day) is when we took some time off of work to check out a boat we were interested in buying. At the time it was still a pipe dream. We actually signed the papers for that boat on Nick’s birthday and have been stacking even memories ever since.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, it was a big leap of faith selling everything and moving onto a boat in a foreign country…however our careers had reached the ceiling where we were. To find bigger work, you’ve gotta find a bigger pond. Now that we’ve gone international I imagine we’d use that money to upgrade to bigger captains licenses and in our free time keep cruising the world on our small boat and seeing how we can contribute to the communities we meet!
