Two souls from distant shores, we met surfing, raised a beach kid, made another — our love deep as the ocean, wild as the tide.

We grew up in different cultures but met surfing Waikiki and clicked right away. Since then, we’ve raised one beach kid, we’re expecting another, and we’re still side by side in and out of the water. Surfing ties our worlds together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Aside from our daughter’s birth, our favorite memory is the day we met. I climbed onto Roarke’s bike handlebars and trusted him to ride us down a steep hill for breakfast. It was simple but said it all. We’ve trusted each other ever since, no matter where the road goes.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d put $20,000 toward a home for our growing family— a place to hold all our memories and give our kids roots while we keep making new ones.
