It happened so naturally, I had no idea I was in love with Lisa. We were friends and had a connection unlike any I have ever felt-especially with, or for, a woman. We started hanging out more and more, and she disclosed a crush on me (and desire to roll around in some lily pads at the CLE Museum of Art) but I wasn’t sure about that can of worms yet. We stayed platonic for a year and memorialized things on Memorial Day weekend 2022.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we stayed in an old bed and breakfast about a week after we first got together as a couple. It was on Kelly’s Island and the older woman who owned the house must have heard us break the bed. We also had an embarrassing little mishap with watermelon juice on the sheets that I had to take to the owner of the house and explain. Lisa came with me to audition for the latest Survivor, which we waited in line to do for four hours and just before we got to the front, they closed! It was so fun!
What would you do with $20,000?We have bills to catch up on, of course, but we really want to use some of it to take a special trip together. Perhaps for an engagement? 🥰 We would also donate some to my nonprofit, Girls With Sole, which empowers girls and women who have experienced trauma of any kind.
