We met through friends and clicked instantly. Though we lived 3 hours apart—him from a small town, me from the city—we made the effort from the start. As two very independent people who never pictured lifelong partners, it felt like finding a missing puzzle piece. Long distance became worth it because we just knew it was something special.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our first trips was a road trip to Chicago—Cail had just gotten a new car and drove the whole way while I happily played passenger princess. We went sightseeing, took a river booze cruise, and saw the Bears—my first NFL game! It opened our eyes to the idea of building a future somewhere that felt like ours.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use it toward a downpayment on our first home and to help pay for our wedding. We’ve had so much fun building a life together—and this would help us build the next chapter.
