Connect How did your love story begin?

It was pretty much like a movie—you can’t make this up. We actually met on a movie set where he and i were cast as husband and wife. The story was we were supposed to be aliens sent to earth to do scientific experiments—he was a scientist and I played the realtor wife who lured prospective buyers to see homes for sale and then would kidnap the clients and give them to him in our suburban home to do experiments on. Eventually the mother ship comes from our home planet and we leave.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorites is probably when we first started dating and we talked all night on the phone reciting all of our favorite shakepearean poetry to each other for hours! And turns out we loved all of the same sonnets. It was an hours long talk about art and life and serendipity and there was no one else in the world that either of us felt so comfortable talking to. We both realized we truly got each other as individuals. And we were both 49. Late bloomers finally finding someone to love.

What would you do with $20,000?

It would be a dream to go to Paris together. We are both fond of French language and culture. I spent time there in my youth but never with my soulmate. Would be incredible to experience the city of lights together and stay for a few months and write. To have the luxury of time to leave our busy lives to create passion projects somewhere. I am writing a stage play and he would finally have the space to write his dream screenplay about he and his brother that he has been talking about for years.
