Connect How did your love story begin?

We both had been tired of dating, I ( Lisa) was a widow, and Mario had been through a horrible divorce. We wanted love and we found it. After about a week of texting and talking we met for breakfast at a little spot in Rancho Cucamonga called Sammy’s Cafe. I, (Lisa) was nervous. We had both been on so many dates through MATCH and all just being a waste of time. Online dating is hard. Mario, had been too, but something in both of us knew. We even took a photo together. And we kissed.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On August 20th, 2021. Mario took me on a date. We went to Long Beach. Got on a Gondola and went through the Canals of Naples. Romantic for sure. We had wine and food. He pulled out a baseball, ( Mario LOVES baseball and a die hard Dodger fan) on the baseball he wrote… baseball has always been my life, my pitch to you, I want to make you a part of mine, Will you be my GF? It was the most sweetest and romantic thing I had in my life. A favorite memory we treasure. Mario is a true romantic.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have a family of 6, I, (Lisa) have a daughter and Mario has 3, 2 boys and a daughter. Although we have 3 adult children and 1 13 yro, we still enjoy doing things together. We would love to take our children on a grand vacation to Xcaret in The Rivera Maya, in Cancun Mexico. This trip is too much for us to afford as a family of 6. So this 20,000$ will pay for this once in a lifetime vacation. We enjoy our children and they get along well. We enjoy being all together.
