Connect How did your love story begin?

We have known each other since middle school, but our love story truly began when we were both cast in a high school production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), a comedy mash up of all of Shakespeare's works. Spending every day rehearsing after school, reciting the bard and sharing moments backstage led to that first date of dinner and a movie, then walking an empty golf course holding hands until we had our first kiss (thanks to Lindsay ;)) under a gazebo along the path.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory might be when we decided to take a whirlwind last minute trip to Universal Studios to see Harry Potter world and visit Disney for the first time. We went in 2020 on a whim, driving 14 hours straight and unknowingly, RIGHT before the world shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The memory of our time there picking out wands, eating fish and chips, drinking butterbeer and strolling through the streets of Diagon Alley carried us through some of those tough following years.

What would you do with $20,000?

It's about dang time we got married! $20,000 would help us to hold the wedding we have always wanted, to share our love with our family and friends. It would help us to launch the next chapter of our love story together in a way we never could have imagined. $20,000 would also help us with our new adventure of homeownership, maintaining and designing a space for the two of us to host family, friends, and create memories together with our loved ones for years to come.
