We married very quickly and very young. We’ve been together 21 years now, through growth, changes, challenges, four kids, many adventures.
We would like to thank you for supporting Lindsay and Patrick in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at college, Brigham Young University. He had just returned home from a Mormon mission in France, I was in my second year at the university. He lived down the street from my apartment, we participated in a church group together, and he asked me out to a paint your own pottery place and then to dinner. After dinner, I realized the date was coming to an end and I was enjoying my time talking with him so much that I suggested we go sledding. So we sledded into the wee hours.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? For our 20th anniversary, we travelled to France together and left the kids with my in laws. It was magical. We rode trains all over the countryside, explored castles and medieval villages, awed at gorgeous cathedrals, climbed the steps of the Eiffel Tower, spent a day in the gardens of Versailles. We savored delicious food, religiously found a patisserie everywhere we travelled, walked through many outdoor markets hand in hand and took out findings back to cook up delicious meals together.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take our four kids to Europe.
