We met at a local dive bar in Portland, Oregon. I was playing pool against stranger who was god awful at the game. I turned to the nearest person to make fun of the person I was playing with, and it just happened to be John. He introduced himself and the rest is history. We became close friends over the next year, we would play basketball together nearly every week. He became someone I trusted and relied on before anything romantic happened, though I knew he always had a crush on me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory of us if when we went whale watching together. Neither of us have been on a boat like that before and we both immediately got seasick. The feeling of nausea only subsided when we saw beautiful gray whale or had the urge to wave at sea lion. After we shared a bowl of clam chowder, it was overall a great trip. it was amazing being together somewhere that was unknown and so much bigger than just the two of us.
What would you do with $20,000?I think a vacation would be very necessary. Other than that we have family’s with medical bills and rent to pay. It would be nice to invest in ourselves and the people we love.
