One fateful day in 1996, Dan walked into Hills Department Store and saw Jenn working behind the snack bar. She was wearing a red smock with matching streaks in her hair. He was smitten, and she knew she was in trouble! The rest, as they say, is history—much like their wedding song, "Lovesong" by The Cure.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Dan selflessly donated 65% of his liver to save Jenn's life in 2022. Our favorite memory is of Dan being wheeled into Jenn's hospital room so we could see each other for the first time post-surgery. We stood up and took our first steps hand in hand down the ICU hallway to a window with a much better view of our hometown, Pittsburgh.
What would you do with $20,000?If $20,000 fell into our laps, we would renew our wedding vows on our first real vacation. No more couch surfing at Dan's uncle's house in Florida – just us and our beloved dog, Ms. Eleven. We'd also love to help support another local transplant patient. And, of course, we'd tackle debt, because let's be honest, saving a life is expensive, even when it’s a two-for-one deal.
