Our love story began on Facebook where Jamo nervously asked Lexie out. Our first date was a surprise zoo trip, and we instantly connected. He is a chef, and she’s a vegan animal rescuer, and I loved the challenge of cooking for her. We grilled veggies on our second date, and for the third, she took me to her farm to meet her rescued pigs. We fell fast—sharing meals, laughs, and a deep bond. From the start, I knew she was the one.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite shared memory is the day we met—other than waking up in each other’s arms. I (Lexie) was so nervous; I thought he was incredibly handsome. We bonded over my love for animals and Poppy the pygmy hippo. He was shy too, but so kind and respectful. From the moment we talked, he felt like home—safe, sweet, and familiar. That day, something just clicked, and we both knew it was the start of something special.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to care for our rescued animals and make their sanctuary even more special—a safe, loving home for them and us. It would help us grow our dream and build a beautiful life together, filled with compassion, purpose, and love.
