At a H.S. Basketball game in 1980 (our schools were playing each other). I arrived late and saw Leon, my husband-to-be in the stands. YES, he stood out to me! He was sitting above my cousin that I was meeting. He came down to introduce himself to me at halftime of the JV game; he looked at my necklace that I was wearing, AND PRONOUNCED MY NAME CORRECTLY!! No one had ever looked at my name and pronounced it correctly, FATE! We talked the rest of that & the Varsity game!!! & everyday since!!♥
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many favorites over 45 years! From our Wedding Day, Honeymoon, 1st Apt., 1st House, children’s births’, grandchildren’s births’, etc. But, we would have to say…… Retiring, selling EVERYTHING we owned, and moving to the Dominican Republic for a year!!!! Caribbean life was amazing with my Love!!! We had our on little piece of paradise on the beach!!!! Every day was Saturday!!😍🏝️☀️ ♥️
