Devon and I met in high school! Devon would say it was “love-at-first-sight” on his end, but I only saw him as just a friend. When my family moved overseas with the Navy, Devon found me online and for those 2 1/2 years overseas, we grew our friendship and our connection by sending over 1,000 emails back and forth to one another. As adults, we lost touch for 5 years but then reconnected online and fell in love! We eloped in Vegas after only dating for 5 months then Devon joined the Marine Corps!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Having our baby girl! Virginia is now 18 months and is the light of our lives! She’s been the best adventure yet! I thought I loved Devon until I saw him be the best father to our sweet daughter and I’ve fallen even more in love with him since.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put a lot of it away in savings for us and Virginia’s future. But we would like to use some of it for a vow renewal! We have always wanted to go to Ireland together and we’d love to renew our vows on the Cliffs of Mohr with our sweet Virginia as our flower girl.
