Greg and Lakonka met back in 2020 at the height of COVID by matching on Hinge. At the time Lakonka had a 3 month old son. Greg knew that both she and her son were a package deal. Her son was born at just 1b 8 oz at birth and needed a trach. They both became advocates for medically fragile children. Lakonka and Greg both reside on the east coast with their son and two dogs Molly & Storm.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Getting trained in the hospital as a trained care giver so we could bring our son Genesis home with us! We also had his Wish granted at Make A Wish and got to enjoy the wonderful magic of Disney!
What would you do with $20,000?We would give a portion back to other Trachestomy families that are less fortunate and can’t afford medical supplies as well as Lurie Children’s Hospital. We would also invest in our son Genesis’s college fund and the rest we would use for investing in our small businesses we each created.
