How did your love story begin?

I was on winter break from college and crashing at a friend’s apartment over a bar in our smallish town. We had a case of the winter blues and decided to throw a “summer party” and pretend it wasn’t cold. My husband went to the bar below the apartment after a wedding and then followed the crowd upstairs to the apartment when the bar closed. He was wearing a full suit and tie and sitting in the corner quietly. I was wearing clothes like it was 80 degrees. Someone dared me to kiss him and I did.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went to LA to see Dead and Company. It was the dredges of summer and rented a tiny Air Bnb with the worst window a/c. We also had no car so used ride share or walking to site see. Erik saw the ocean for the first time, we browsed antique stores and hole in the wall restaurants. After the concert, the place for ride share was such a mess our rides kept canceling, so we walked from Dodgers Stadium, in the middle of the night, to less populated surrounding neighborhoods where we could get a ride

What would you do with $20,000?

Build a guest house/office space for my brother and kids to visit and for me to have some place to work because my dad lives with us. Set some aside for a rainy day. Go on a fun jaunt of a vacation to give Erik a break from his 80-90 hr/week work schedule. If anything is left, we shall see.
