How did your love story begin?

In October of 2020, I got a message request. I let it sit there or a few days, because looking at his profile picture and his age I thought to myself, "he looks like trouble and I dont need that right now." I went to lunch with my best friend and told her about the message, and she said "you're just having fun so why not?" I opened the message and all it said was, "You are G" and I rolled my eyes, and responded, "G could mean so many things" We went on our first date and never looked back.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Devon and I have had so many significant memories over the past 4 1/2 years, I think one of the most memorable would have to be my graduation. When we started dating in 2020 I had just started a doctoral program, and I told him when that nothing would stop me from finishing. Three years later, after battling many obstacles we traveled to Long Beach CA, and he watched me walk across the stage.

What would you do with $20,000?

During my cancer treatment I had to travel to the Mayo clinic out of state and live there or 3 months for a specialized treatment that was not available in my state. My parents graciously pulled from their retirement and gave me the money to stay in Arizona for those three months, along with assist with the expenses that came with it. I would pay them back and encourage them to take a needed vacation.
