It began over 25 years ago in the dim light of an all night diner where our paths first crossed. Erwin, a trucker weary from countless miles on the road, found me as his waitress, and a simple smile sparked a connection that blossomed over time. Through years of shared stories, dreams and regrets, our bond deepened, transforming friendship into love. Despite our differences we found harmony in music, family, and laughter proving that love can emerge unexpectedly.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Erwin cherishes the moment we placed our trust in each other, to include our families and children. For me our first kiss stands out -a passionate, spontaneous movie like moment while taking out the trash. Together, we hold dear our trip to Baltimore for his brother’s memorial at the US Naval Academy, followed by historic events at Fort McHenry and a harbor cruise, combining love, honor and patriotism, with unforgettable memories.
What would you do with $20,000?Erwin’s time in the military took him all over Europe. We would love to go back together. We would also like to support a local charity close to our hearts. We love to get dressed up and go out together, so for extra fun, we’ll buy new matching outfits.
