How did your love story begin?

We met on Bumble just before the Super Bowl. By Valentine’s Day, Ryan asked Laura out, but she doesn’t do first dates on Valentine’s, so they waited until Feb 18. That night, Laura got her first-ever ticket, the restaurant was booked, and bowling didn’t work out either. But Ryan gave her his parking spot and brought her favorite flowers. We learned two things: always make a reservation, and we really wanted to see where this could go.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is riding a moped together through San Francisco. Laura was scared to try it, but Ryan made her feel brave enough to hop on. What started as a short ride turned into an unforgettable adventure—we got totally lost, laughed nonstop, and discovered parts of the city we never planned to see. With no map, no plan, and just the two of us on one little moped, we realized the best moments happen when you let go and ride it out together.

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 wouldn’t just cover the wedding of our dreams—it would also make our honeymoon possible. More importantly, it would allow us to finally renovate our home, a project we’ve had to put on hold while Laura focused on healing and recovery after her transplant. After everything we’ve been through, creating a space that feels like “us” would mean the world. This gift would help us start our marriage with joy, comfort, and a fresh foundation for the future.
