Best friends, changemakers, adoptive parents, animal lovers—our love is deep as the ocean and stronger every day.

Like many modern love stories, ours started with a simple online chat. But everything changed the morning we met for breakfast at Succotash. Over coffee and nervous smiles, something clicked. We opened up, shared pieces of our past, and saw glimpses of something bigger than just a first date. That morning turned into the beginning of a beautiful relationship, one built on curiosity, connection, and the joy of discovering life together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? It’s hard to choose, but our honeymoon fills our hearts. In 2019, we saw a couple concerts, then escaped to the Colorado mountains. We stayed in a tiny home with a sweet cat and silly goats, explored the quiet mountain towns, spotted elk and moose. We braved a blizzard to reach Glenwood Springs to soak in the hot springs. My phone died early on, giving us the rare gift of being fully present with each other. It was peaceful, wild, and full of love.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use this to find a new home, a place where our adopted kids can grow and thrive with space of their own. Where our rescued animals have room to roam, and where my mom, who I care for, can be safe and supported. We’ve outgrown our house long ago, but our dreams and our family keep growing. This would bring us one step closer to the life we’re building with love, care, and purpose.
