The Meet-cute: a burlesque show at a winery under the full moon. Co was vending vintage clothes and Laken was their first customer. We became Instagram friends and our paths crossed a few times. The challenge: Laken couldn’t read any flirtatious cues and Co thought Laken wasn’t single! The surprise: Laken’s plans with a mutual brought them together again unexpectedly for a drag show. Imagine Co's surprise when it was Laken picking up the friend group! Friendship grew and love bloomed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Laken: I love instrumental music and Co surprised me with tickets to a Queen classical covers candlelit concert. It was so sweet and romantic. Co: We went on a wild goose chase to another city to find the dvd of one of Laken’s favorite childhood movies. Silliness ensued on this adventure, ending with their off-brand dvd player breaking before we could watch the dvd with it. Exasperated, Co examined the machine and we laughed at the silly brand name “Lonpoo”
What would you do with $20,000?We have been through a lot together and we are ready to embrace more joy! We could use this money to improve our housing and transportation situations to better live that Frog & Toad life!
