Our love story started with a photo. Brian saw Jesseca through a mutual friend and said, “It was your eyes that made me do it,” upon messaging her. That message led to a karaoke night, where we connected through music—and once we sang together, that was it. The spark was real, the harmonies clicked, and the rest was history.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, but this one always makes us laugh: Early on, during a divorce ad, Jesseca said, “Just so you know, I don’t believe in divorce.” Brian replied, “Good—I don’t believe in marriage.” She was all in from the start; he took 2.5 years to say “I love you”—and now says he wishes he’d said it sooner. Five years later, we’re married… guess she proved him wrong in the sweetest way.

If we had $20,000, we’d fix up our home—it’s been in the family for four generations and still holds the laughter (and chaos) of our children. We want to preserve it for the future, to give our children what was given to us. And if there’s anything left, maybe take our first real family vacation—because memories matter just as much as the roof over our heads.
