That one day in AP Bio class- fast forward through high school to his deployment to Iraq. I randomly received the news that Chad was shipping out and something in me said to reach out. I found him on MySpace sending a message, “hey, I heard you are going to Iraq. I will keep you in my prayers “. After that, Chad perused me for 3 years. We were true friends. I heard about all of his girlfriend problems. Exchanged football smack talk. That 3 year run transitioned into “facebook official”.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The day we eloped on New Symrna Beach. I still feel the energy coursing through my veins. It was a secret we shared of love and commitment suspended in time. In that moment I hated the military for teasing with a possible deployment, but appreciated it for providing the push. There’s nothing quite like picking out a wedding band an hour before your psych clinical rotation. I questioned needing a bed myself that evening. Now, it’s a good laugh and my favorite memory.
What would you do with $20,000?Invest in a holistic based business to help others transition from the bandaid traditional healthcare provides. I love natural remedies and integrating them into our daily living for purpose and enjoyment.
