How did your love story begin?

Cember met Kyle through his Aunt Lori, who kept asking what kind of man Cember liked. She showed two photos—one bearded, one not. Cember picked the bearded one, only to learn both were Kyle! Lori gave Kyle Cember’s number, but he didn’t text—until 8 months later. When he finally did, they talked nonstop, not realizing they lived 2.5 hours apart. By then, the connection was too strong to ignore. Their love began with laughs, phone calls, and fate.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On our honeymoon in Martha’s Vineyard, we dressed up—wedding shoes and all—for a fancy dinner. Afterward, we wanted to catch the Notre Dame/Ohio State game at a sports bar, but with no Uber, we walked in a downpour! Wind whipped our umbrella as we both held on, laughing and running through the rain. We clung to each other and the umbrella, soaked but giggling the whole way. It was pure joy—romantic, spontaneous, and perfectly us.

What would you do with $20,000?

After our honeymoon, we moved from Indiana to Colorado for a new adventure. Along the way, we both landed remote jobs and welcomed our first child—our families’ first grandson. While we’ve loved our time out west, we’d use the $20K to move back home to Indiana, where our son can grow up surrounded by grandparents, cousins, and deep family roots. Being near loved ones means everything to us, and this prize would bring us home where our hearts truly are.
