Connect How did your love story begin?

We met 6 years ago on Tinder. We’ve lived 25 minutes away from each other our whole lives and didn’t even know it. In the craziness of using Tinder, Kyle was the first and only guy to actually ask me on a date. He asked for me to meet him downtown Charleston at the pier and we spent 3 beautiful hours together, getting to know each other. We talked about family, music, work and even our goals in life. 3 dates after that, he asked me to be his girlfriend and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We decided to take a trip to Hilton Head, SC for some much needed time off from work and life. We only stayed in HH for two days, but we jam packed it with stuff to do in the city, along with some impromptu stops! We went to this cute little movie theater owned by this lovely couple, ate at a few local spots, one pulling us in by the sound of the live band! We spent the rest of our night indulging in the sounds of this man who played the guitar like I’ve never heard live before! He was amazing!

What would you do with $20,000?

We’ve planned our wedding ourselves, being sure to make it OURS. We’ve been meticulous about hiring each vendor, down to our officiant. We want this to be a day we remember so that we can tell our kids and grandkids. This money would really help us catch up on getting everyone paid. We would love to be able to use some of it toward our honeymoon as well. Right now, we plan on a lovely staycation, but we’d love the opportunity to be able to go out of the country again.
