We started just like everyone else in the 2020’s, good old internet dating (Facebook dating). With a mutal friend in common- I said what the heck. 100 miles apart- we met for dinner and drinks & the first date never ended.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We eloped to an adorable chapel on a small lake in Michigan & it was absolutely perfect. A stunning day in early May brought the most beautiful blooming magnolia flowers out just in time for us to say I do. No stress and the day felt like It went so slow. We were able to savor every moment of our special day. The hand holding, the extra kisses, it really felt so magical and natural. We truly treasured that day together.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to be able to take a dream honeymoon vacation. My darling husband is a retired Marine corps veteran & is 100% disabled. He came home from a tour in Iraq, Alive, but with a permanent injury- TBI (traumatic brain injury). Michael has been told that his memory loss will continue to affect his future. He is the most caring and kind man and I truly enjoy our life together. We would love the chance to take a trip of lifetime that he can enjoy now while we are stilll young and able.
