Milton and I met at work. I had hired him at my store. Unbeknownst to me he had moved to Charleston from his home town, to overcome drug addiction. We worked together for a few months, then the store caught on fire! He was the only person willing to come in and help me fix everything and get us open again. We bonded and neither of us could see ourselves without the other person.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?As a kid Milton played baseball, loves baseball, but had never been to a pro game. For our first anniversary I surprised him by raking him to an Atlanta Braves game. I had never seen somebody so happy and appreciative in my life. It was the best 2 days we could have asked for.
What would you do with $20,000?The first thing we would do is get married! We so badly want to tie the knot by the end of 2025. We just want to elope on a cruise, just the 2 of us, and have a small party at his family’s to celebrate. Then use the rest to eliminate some date and have a fresh start.
