Connect How did your love story begin?

After her parents divorced Kristi spent time at the beach to clear her head. One day she saw a boy and his red bike roll onto the beach. They made eye contact and it was like they both knew. After “mistakenly” throwing a ball his way, she asked him to play four-square. He was her first hand hold, first kiss, first everything. When he asked her out he was so nervous he could barely speak, though because of his allergy, he said “if you ever want to kiss me, please don’t eat peanuts.” 🤣❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

The end of a year of long distance and moving 3000 miles across the country together was monumental. Ryan went to college the year before Kristi, though she got into her dream college in San Diego 15 minutes away from his school. It felt like fate! After a year of red-eyes, late night calls, and virtual Netflix watch parties, starting their lives together in San Diego proved that they were both in this for the long run. Since then, they have adopted a dog, swam with sharks, and surfed 24/7!

What would you do with $20,000?

20,000 dollars would be life changing. As Kristi works multiple jobs to get through college and Ryan is just starting his time in the workforce, living on their own is expensive. They would use it to help them pay rent, pay off college loans, and help the San Diego Humane Society, where Kristi volunteers. They know that no matter what they will make it work, but having some money would allow them to focus more on their relationship and less on simply surviving. Thank you for your time ❤️
