We are a perfect fit for each other. We help each other be the best we can be and I truly feel we are equal partners.
We would like to thank you for supporting Kristen & Eyal in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in the Latin dancing scene in Boston. We both started dancing as a way to connect with others and get out of our homes after failed marriages. He was much better than I was at first but I didn’t care. Dancing with him was fun; he was practiced but expressive and his personality showed through. After a nudging from a mutual friend, he asked me out on a date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Before we started dating I had planned to spend a summer volunteering at a sea turtle nursery in Mexico and he followed me there four weeks into my stay. Patrolling the beach in the middle of the night on foot for sea turtles and then hauling the eggs back to the nursery was grueling work but Eyal stayed and helped me with the nests. While taking a break from patrol, we laid in the sand in the dark and watched the cloudless sky for shooting stars and I sang one of our favorite songs to him.
What would you do with $20,000?Eyal has two children from a previous marriage and I am a proud auntie of two nieces and three nephews. We want to set up savings funds for them to ensure they have a stable financial future. We also wouldn’t mind using the money to take our family on a vacation.
