My husband and I met playing the app game Words with Friends. Our relationship grew from trash talking in a game to 10 years of love.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
My husband and I met playing the app game Words with Friends. When we first started playing against each other in 2014 they had a feature called Community Match, so you were playing against people who lived nearby to you. It started with trash talking, then to small talk, and then full on conversations in the chat.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our 5 year anniversary was perfect! We went on a couples trip to Mexico, but it never felt like we lacked on personal time. Me and my husband know how to be together, but engage other people. I love how we can hold hands and still have separate conversations. That always feels like we have an ability to exist in 2 worlds at once.
What would you do with $20,000?We've been renovating our home, which is my husband's childhood home. He's been doing all of the work on his own, but he's been experiencing extreme shoulder pain and weakness and hasn't been able to do anything for months. He's scheduled for shoulder replacement surgery on my birthday in September, and will be recovering for additional months. We would use that money to finish renovating so he can relax.
