I described my idea of a “perfect date” on the dating site — a romantic sunset picnic on the beach with wine, charcuterie, and music from Matchbox 20 and Hootie and the Blowfish playing. After dating for a couple months, Tamera took me to Siesta Key Beach and told me we were having my perfect date. She had everything ready. It was magical and unforgettable. The sunset was gorgeous that evening. We were talking, laughing, and falling in love. Our wedding is on June 30, 2025 on SKB at sunset.

Besides getting engaged, our favorite adventure was traveling to Blue Ridge, Georgia, during autumn. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin that overlooked a mountain valley. We hiked, visited wineries, and enjoyed the breathtaking views while seeing the leaves change. Our first time, we even experienced snow flurries. We had a fantastic time drinking Champagne in the hot tub while snow was gently falling. Absolutely stunning.

We are looking forward to retiring in the next couple of years, so we are actively searching for our final home, somewhere near a beach here in Florida. Flagler Beach is our favorite place to visit, and would love to settle down and enjoy walks on the beach looking for treasure. If we win $20,000, that would certainly go towards a down payment for our forever home.
