How did your love story begin?

We met on FB thru a friend. Nate sent Kim a friend request. Then Kim asked for help for her fridge and Nate offered to come over.  We spoke for hours. Nate spoke about the blessings that came from his house fire, divorce, father’s death, how he was able to let go of stuff, believe in love, be a caregiver. Kim had similar trials. Nate is a music lover sending Kim songs every day. The first was Lips Like Sugar by Echo and the Bunnymen. Kim’s favorite song she sent Nate is I’m Yours by Maggie Rose

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Kim had vacation to use or lose and said “lets head far enough south to ride our tandem bike” in Jan. She planned a whole vacation in Memphis, which was too cold. So we looked at the map and the weather app and headed to Hattiesburg, MS and then to New Orleans. Every time Nate spoke with a hotel he referred to me as his wife, his gf, his partner, the girl in the car next to me. Now we refer to each other as the boy or girl and whatever situation it may be. We travel exceptionally well together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would definitely travel! We want to go to Iceland for the eclipse in 2026 with family. We want to see anything ancient! Pyramids, Stone Henge, Machu Picchu, Pompeii. We want to eat the foods of different cultures and meet people from all over the world. $20K would be a lovely start to this. For the USA / Canada… we would like to get a camper van and travel with our tandem. Riding a bike through a place is a more intimate connection than driving.
