God’s Timing is Perfect! ♥️
We would like to thank you for supporting Kevyn and Karina in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
During our mission we lived in poverty, obedience, and chastity. We started dating on 01/16/21 and started a long distance relationship. He lived in California and I lived in Arizona. He moved to AZ a year later & we got engaged on November 5, 2022 in Sedona. Unfortunately we can not get married until he receives his residency, a requirement he has to follow. We were told latest 2027, so we are patiently waiting & praying we can be married soon! Having faith in God is all we can do at this time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Individually, making the decision to leave everything to become missionaries in order for us to heal and to be able to love one in other in our vocation. As a couple, the times we get to experience new places together. There is where we learn more about one another and strengthens our relationship. Our engagement as well, the best day of our lives, and even though it’s been 3 years, we wouldn’t change anything about it.
What would you do with $20,000?With the $20,000, we would save for our future wedding and a down payment for our future house. We would also donate some of that money to our mission community Missionaries Servants of the Word. If it wasn’t for our community my fiancé and I wouldn’t have met and for that I am truly grateful to God.
