How did your love story begin?

Picture this: Meredith breaks up with her boyfriend in the local Starbucks. She calls her friend to come pick her up and help her forget. Enter the loudest, double exhaust, hunter green Jeep Wrangler and its driver with long blonde hair and a backwards flattop. Meredith’s friend Michael had brought his friend Kevin. Fast forward about a month to when Meredith asked Kevin to be her date to the senior prom.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Last September we had lost our dog Samson to cancer. It was sudden and fast, reminded Meredith of how she lost her father, and gutted Kevin who had never experienced the loss of a pet. With grief and winter closing in, we decided to book a dream trip to Hawaii. After 15 hours of travel, we shared an amazing meal (including a few Mai Tais) and walked back on the beach. A lot exhausted and a little tipsy, we were so happy to be there that we started singing with our feet splashing in the waves.

What would you do with $20,000?

Use it to start our own business! Kevin is quite the MacGyver and created a type of beach golf game with one of his friends. Meredith is a marketer and graphic designer by trade and thought their game could be even bigger than Spike Ball. Right now, it’s just two guys playing a game they made up, but we want to bring it to beachgoers all over!
