Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began on 3/29/20 in Gilboa, NY. The world was standing still, but my heart was just beginning. I went upstate, unaware fate was waiting. Then I saw Kevin. That night, beneath a sky full of stars, we kissed—and everything changed. The next morning, I let go of my past. Five years later, to the day, I married the man who set my soul on fire and made the world feel full of magic again.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our honeymoon, We fed elephants rice balls, played with pigs on the beach, and zipped around Khao Lak on scooters like locals (or at least tried to). We wandered the majestic halls of the Grand Palace, drifted down the Chao Phraya River, and stood silently at the site of the 2004 tsunami — a reminder of how precious every moment is. Through every adventure, silly detour, and quiet pause, I kept thinking: there’s no one else I’d rather be lost or found with.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were fortunate enough to win $20,000, we would use it to start building a home — a place where we can find peace during an incredibly difficult time. He grew up on Long Island, and I’m from Staten Island. Our parents still live in those same places, and lately, being close to them feels more important than ever. My mom was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer, and his mother has been living with multiple sclerosis for years. It feels like life is pulling us in both directions
