Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2008, China was interested in turning my life story into a feature film (I'm the only person in the world to ride a bicycle 2000 miles atop the length of the Great Wall of China). Kim happened to be in China and could help with the interpretation. She was a gracious hostess during the week of meetings. Six days later, I wanted to marry her. 12 years later, she said yes. Our book, when I write it, will be titled, HE SAID, SHE FLED.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

So many... for me, it was when the documentary of my life, AGAINST THE WALL, qualified for the 2020 Academy Awards. That was a whirlwind tour for us. For Kim, it would have to be all the world adventures we've had over the years. Also, for both of us it was forming our non profit, FOSTER DREAMS (.org), which helps to empower today's youth to go after their own dreams, because... Dreaming is a Serious Business.

What would you do with $20,000?

Continue to create more memories, experiences and adventures together such as walking the Great Wall of China, because it brings us back to how we met and helps to inspire others, especially our youth, to go after their own dreams for a better life; to become Realistic Dreamers. Sidney Poitier once said, "If your dreams aren't big enough to scare you, then you need to find another dream." Knowledge Through Failure, Success Through Faith.
