We met in a gaming chat room in 2001—just two people not looking for love. What started as playful banter turned into real connection. From online chats to real-life love, we grew together through distance, challenges, and adventures. Now we’re living our wildest dream—sailing through life side by side, still laughing, still showing up for each other. Not your typical love story, but it’s 100% us.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first road trip together. Cell phones weren't something everyone had, so forget GPS. We drove from TX to GA. I had written out all of our driving instructions on index cards. Halfway home from GA we dealt with construction, which took us off our path. Then we dropped the index cards and realized our biggest mistake. I didn't number them, so we had no idea what was next! We ended up stopping at a restaurant in a tiny town in the bayou. They fed us amazing gumbo and helped us back to the hwy!
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d upgrade our boat for even more off-grid freedom, and lower our carbon footprint even further. Then we'd sail to new horizons, chasing sunsets, collecting stories, and living the wild, salty dream we’ve worked so hard to build.
