Our love story began in 2017 at Louisiana State University, where we were both studying journalism. I was in the TV program training to be a reporter. JB was studying print to become a sports writer. He has believed in me since day one—through late-night edits, big dreams, and early newsroom mornings. Now, as a national host, he’s still by my side, cheering me on like he always has.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of our favorite memories is the night JB proposed. I was overwhelmed with love, but what meant the most was hearing him speak about how proud he’s always been of me—from our college days at LSU to now. It wasn’t just about the ring—it was about being seen, supported, and loved for exactly who we are and who we’ve grown to be. That moment captured the heart of our relationship.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use $20,000 to build the foundation for our future. Part would go toward our wedding and honeymoon, making memories that last a lifetime. We’d also invest in our first home and start a family fund to prepare for the next chapter of our lives. Most importantly, we’d give back—donating to an organization that supports disability rights, in honor of my dad, whose strength inspires our love and commitment every day.
