Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on TikTok. While scrolling, I saw Kelly on a Live and was instantly drawn to her—funny, real, radiant. I slid into her DMs. She wasn’t looking, but I was persistent. A couple of months later, our first call was a FaceTime, three hours long! While Kelly was traveling in Europe, she asked me on our first official date... to a wedding nonetheless. We've been each other's plus one ever since— walls down, hearts open, holding on with both hands.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There are so many, it’s tough to pick just one! We will go back to that very first FaceTime. It definitely was so memorable. I remember hanging up and thinking, “Wow!” The flow, the rawness, the vulnerability… it was shocking! We’ve both learned many a life lesson from past relationships. Dealing with the jealousy, lack of trust, infidelity, abuse, and manipulation. It was a lot. We had both given up on love. Until that moment. Everything changed for the better on that day.

What would you do with $20,000?

Janelle has been a massage therapist for 20 years now, and the wear and tear on her body has been immeasurable. So it’s time for a career change. Yep! In her late 40’s. Back to school she goes! She will make one heck of an ultrasound technician! We would use the winnings to help take care of her new career school debt.
