We were best friends in middle school and became high school sweethearts, but didn’t live the easiest lives. Through all the love we still hurt one another and after high school we went our separate ways. It wasn’t until I converted a bus and drove up from Florida to West Virginia, did we connect again. He had a son from another marriage and we just clicked. It was like nothing had changed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?All of them. I genuinely cannot pick a favorite. From creating our own Christmas traditions as adults to sitting on my mom’s bench in her garden in 8th grade talking about what love looked like. From watching him in our high school plays and laughing until it hurt to being a part of his son’s life. It’s all just so epically beautiful.
What would you do with $20,000?Go to Italy. My stepson is always asking if we can go someday although I’m not sure he knows how far away it is, he just really wants pizza and honestly…freakin’ same. Also, the countryside looks so beautiful. I’d love to take an unforgettable family trip to add to the memory bank.
