My husband said the first time he saw me, he felt as though he was seeing for the first time. I was everything he didn't know he needed. He asked me to lunch and I turned him down twice, but, he persisted. I walked outside one day for my lunch, and he was standing outside holding up a picnic basket and a sign that said "I can wait forever". I blushed so hard. I didn't know whether to think it was sweet, or be concerned he was stalking me. Lunch was great!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory of us as a couple was when we had our first child. After I gave birth, he came home while I was in the hospital to get the house ready for us. I came home to a spotless house. The crib had been put together, all the laundry done, dishes put up, the bassinet was put together. A sign hung that said "Welcome Home". I cried for like an hour. I knew at that moment, I picked the perfect husband to share life with.
