Connect How did your love story begin?

Ironically… during one of the most real, raw, and reflective seasons of our lives. We were both in our 40s, had taken a few bumps from love, learned the hard lessons, healed from the heavy ones—and for the first time ever, we were grounded, clear, and truly ready. Enter: a little nudge from the universe (and a big shoutout to the OGs at Plenty of Fish), and just like that we were off, fifth gear, no brakes, all heart! When it’s your person, you just know. No drama , no doubt just destiny.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

That’s tough—there are way too many. From hiking deep in the woods like we were cast in our own survival reality show (minus the cameras, but with actual deer), to my first solo kayak ride in Georgetown when we had all of $50 and a dream—we’ve been writing our story in real-time. But the most core-memory energy? Those Covid-era road trips, when the world was shut down but our hearts were wide open. We’d pack up a lunch, escape to the mountains, no reservation needed just love, peace, and vibes!

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly? Ten years ago, that would’ve felt like we hit the lottery. But now—after grinding, growing, and leveling up together—we’re in the best financial place we’ve ever been, both individually and as a unit. So, we wouldn’t blow it—we’d build with it. We’d probably drop that 20K into a third property, somewhere peaceful and lowkey. A little escape where we can unplug from the world, pour into each other, and recharge—mind, body, and soul. We’d make it stretch, soulfully and with style!
